Website of the month : Stichting Trésor Utrecht
In January 2008, the French Goverment will take the final decision about a controversial goldmine project in French Guiana. One of the dilemna is that the mine project is located on the Southern slope of the Kaw Mountain, one of the richest rainforest in the Guianas, especially with a Cock-of-the-rock (Rupicola rupicola) population nearby the mine.
