Former Biotropica's Editor-in-chief Robin Chazdon speaks about her work in Costa Rica, Nina Farwig presents the 7-year monitoring project underwritten by Europeans and African governments, a project known as the Biodiversity Monitoring Transect Analysis in Africa (BIOTA), Rhett Harrison, Secretary for the Asia-Pacific Chapter of ATBC, emphasizes law enforcement in Borneo and Carlos Peres asks for greater protection of the Amazon against deforestation and diversity loss.
